We have to stay at home day after day to prevent the spread of corona.  Since you have to spend while sitting, creative people are using this opportunity to stay at home in a different way.  Especially those who believe in making independent films.

Similarly, Tonghar Talkies has published a series called 'Tong-Isolation Diary' with 6 short films made by six independent producers. The story of different experiences during the house arrest has come up in 6 short films.

Among them is a short film by an Indian producer.  The film, produced by Joydeep Banerjee of Kolkata, is titled 'The Time and I'.  Also from Bangladesh are producer and film organizer Debashish Majumder's 'Limit', playwright Touhin Hasan's 'The Silent Roof', poet-photographer and producer Asma Bithi's 'Inside Out', Pankaj Chowdhury Rony's 'Over the Window' and Mitul Ahmed's 'Rugn Prithvi's Bar'.

In addition to the six short films in the Tong Isolation series, there is a dance song called 'Landscape of Soul' made by Tong Team.  Where the choreographer Juirizah Mouli has highlighted this blocked time through various dance coins.  There are invocations of the beautiful world.

Commenting on the short films, Tanghar Talkies founder and producer Zuirizah Mou said: “Overall, Corona has put people in front of new realities.  Manufacturers are no exception.  Cinema halls are closed, shooting is stopped - but these are not the biggest obstacles for independent filmmakers to make!  Rather, as we have seen, obstacles teach us to think about the construction style of film or creative work.  Proof of this are the six short films recently released at Tonghar Talkies.  Although we call these ‘isolation diaries’.

He said that in each film, the stories of the artist's individuality, independence and the life of a person trapped in the fear of coronavirus infection have come up in the psychological tension.  We believe that these films will really become a document of this blocked time, sick world.  We are grateful to those who responded to our call and gave us their films in Tonghar.

In early January 2020, Tonghar released 20 short films from Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Europe, Morocco, Italy, Sri Lanka, Egypt and other countries, cities and places around the world on its own YouTube channel and website.  On the occasion of Women's Day, Tanghar Talkies released four short films by four producers from four countries.
